Ingredients

Directions

Step 1
Wash and dry a lidded jar that's large enough to fit the petals and oil. Make sure the jar and petals are completely dry to ensure that the mold doesn't form.
Step 2
Measure and put the fresh rose petals in the jar and crush them up a bit with a spoon.
Step 3
Add the almond oil completely covering the petals. You want the oil to reach at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) above the rose petals so they'll stay completely submerged even as they absorb the oil and swell.
Step 4
Seal the jar and keep it in a sunny place between 1 and 10 days.Give it a shake every so often. After its time in the sun, strain the oil with cheesecloth, making sure to squeeze every bit of oil out of the roses.
Step 5
Transfer the oil to another jar with a lid, and apply liberally to your skin after showering.
