Full of antioxidants, witch hazel sweeps away grime and leaves skin feeling cool and revived

Ingredients

Directions

Step 1
1/ First things first, let's make that witch hazel more aromatic by infusing it with dried roses. Rose petals are packed with antioxidants that can calm skin irritation and help reverse signs of aging. (No roses? Try Lavender, arnica or calendula.) Place the flowers in one of the jars and pour the witchhazel over them, then replace the lid and shake thoroughly to coat the petals. The witch hazel will quickly turn a gorgeous pink color. 2/ Store the infusion into a cool, dry place and let it sit for 1 to 2 weeks. Shake the jar every other day or so. 3/ Using a fine-mesh strainer, pour the liquid into a medium bowl, filtering out and discarding the rose petals. 4/ Add the aloe vera gel and stir together with a spoon until combined. 5/ Stack your face pads in the second jar, pressing them together tightly. 6/ Slowly pour the witch hazel- aloe vera mixture over the pads, until fully saturated. Save any left over liquid for your next batch. 7/ Replace the lid, and flip the jar over to full disperse the liquid. Allow 1 hour for pads to soak up all that juice!
