Ingredients

Directions

Step 1
1/ Measure out the oats, almonds, chamomile, and calendula. Use a coffee grinder to crush them into fine individual powders. 2/ Combine the powders, then pour the dry mix through a fine-mesh strainer into a non-metal bowl. (Metal tools can interfere with clay, so go with plastic, wood or ceramic) 3/ Portion out and add the clay with a non-metal measuring spoon. 4/ Use a pipette to add the drops of chamomile essential oil and stir with a non-metal spoon to combine. Transfer to a glass jar with an airtight lid. Customize for your Skin Type: Oily - Replace the kaolin clay with bentonite and add 1-2 tbsp of charcoal powder Sensitive - You can soothe redness with 1-2 tbsp anti-inflammatory ingredients, such as honey powder or finely ground dried roses or lavender. Mature - To erase age spots, swap the oats with ground rice. Add 2 tbsp matcha tea powder.

Usage

1/ To use, pour 1 to 2 teaspoons into the palm of your hand and mix in a tiny amount of tap water, making a paste. 2/ Use your fingertips to massage the paste into your skin, working in circular motions. Rinse with water, or leave on face for a few minutes to use as nourishing mask. Tip: To prevent spoilage, store the mixture in a dry place and pour into palm or dole it out with a clean spoon at each use. Recommended for: All Skin Types Frequency: Daily
